Terms of Use

About the service

ProtoSync is an online booking service. An owner creates a schedule, sets working hours and rules, and visitors take free slots. By using the service you accept these terms.

The service is run by a private individual, not a company. Contact for any question: support@protosync.co.

Your account

Rules of use

You must not:

Your content and responsibility

Titles, descriptions, photos, messages and reviews remain yours. By posting them you allow the service to store and display them as far as operation requires: to schedule participants, and — when search visibility is on — on the public page of the schedule.

The relationship between a schedule owner and a visitor is their own. The service provides a booking tool and is not a party to it: we are not responsible for the quality, price or the fact of the service being provided.

Reviews

You may review only a schedule you actually visited. A review is signed with your display name. If the owner enabled search visibility, the review and the author name become visible on the public page and may appear in search results.

We may hide a review that breaks the rules above.

Publishing to search

Search visibility is enabled by the schedule owner and only by them — neither schedule administrators nor we do it on their behalf. Turning the switch off removes the page immediately; how long a search engine keeps showing it from cache is outside our control.

Subscription and payment

Some capabilities may be offered under a paid subscription. Purchase and renewal go through Google Play and follow its rules; subscription management and refunds are handled on the Google Play side.

Cancelling stops renewal; access remains until the end of the paid period.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase of a digital service. By starting to use a paid feature immediately after payment you agree to immediate performance and accept that the right to withdraw ends as performance proceeds. Refunds are handled through Google Play in any case.

Moderation and blocks

We may hide a schedule, withdraw its approval or block an account when these terms are broken, or on well-founded complaints from other users. Where possible we explain the reason; for severe or repeated violations a block may be immediate.

Content complaints

If someone’s schedule, review or message infringes your rights or the law, write to support@protosync.co: give the link, say what exactly the infringement is, and how to reach you.

We will look into it and, if the complaint is well-founded, hide the content or block the account. We tell the complainant the outcome, and the author of the content the reason — unless that would obstruct the investigation.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided «as is». We work to keep it running and to avoid losing data, but cannot guarantee it: outages, maintenance and bugs are possible.

To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for lost profit or indirect damages. Nothing here limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time using the button in profile. We may discontinue the service, giving as much advance notice as practicable.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The date of the last change is shown at the top of the page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version.

Governing law and disputes

We do not impose a foreign jurisdiction on you. If you use the service as a consumer, the law of your country of habitual residence applies and you may go to the courts of your place of residence.

Before going to court, write to us at support@protosync.co — almost everything is settled by email. The out-of-court dispute resolution options provided by the law of your country are also open to you.

Miscellaneous

These terms exist in Russian, English and Romanian. The versions are equivalent; where a translation diverges in meaning, the provision is read in the user’s favour.

If a single provision turns out to be invalid, the rest remain in force.

The service evolves: features are added, changed and withdrawn. We may transfer the rights and obligations under these terms to a successor if the service changes hands, giving notice in advance; the extent of your rights is not reduced by that.
